His is famous for his brilliant movies, especially dance movies like all the Step-up, from 1-4. Many Beliebers also know him as the director of the "Never Say Never movie" and this time, his is back again with Justin and Scooter to make another Bieber-tastic movie, the "Believe movie."
When they embarked on this filming journey back in February, Scooter told MTV:
What we want to do is....the concert sell out so quickly, which has been a blessing. But Justin and I were talking about how there´s so many kids out there who are in a position like he was growing up, who don´t have a lot of money, who aren´t able to go to concerts. He wants to put each one of his concerts for the rest fo his career in theaters for at least one weekend so that kid can go to the theater, pay $10 and have that experience.
This is more about giving them the concert and letting all the kids around the world for one weekend go to the concert together and then go back home and go online and share their experience.
This is what Jon M Chu had to say about the Believe Movie:
It started as just a concert movie, but we´ve got so many other things now, we have footage of him writing the first song for hsi next album on a piece of paer with a pencil. Blank page, erasing, writing. That´s where it starts.
It´s almost about a boy becoming an artist rather than a boy´s life, becuase his artistry is his life now.
Unlike Never Say Never, which was distributed by Paramount, Believe 3D has no distributers yet as Jon says:
We haven´t figured it out. We did it independently: me, Scooter and Justin, we own the footage. We´re cutting it and see who wants it - mayeb it´s a pay per view or maybe direct to DVD.
I´m longing for when it´s going to come out. Never Say Never was a smash, with the younger Justin. This time, Believe 3D is going to blow the roof off the cinemas, with the newer, sexier and mature Justin in it. A whole one and a half to two hours of pure Bieber-someness. Nobody knows when it´s gonna hit the cinemas but I think it´s going to be somewhere around during Summer. I hope so anyway. Beliebers, get ready to get an even more dose of Bieber-fever when Believe 3D hits the big cinema screens.
