Beliebers, you may know that when people on the outside hear “Justin Bieber” they automatically don’t care or choose to ignore it. As Justin grows as an artist, more and more people begin to give him a chance. With that being said, many people don’t take him seriously (and the bad press he’s been getting over the year - doesn’t help change their negative image of him into a positive one).
So what can we do as fans? A lot. A lot more than people think. Social networking is a powerful tool - but do you use it that way? Tweeting your local radio stations, your school station can be the biggest help of all (or even posting a comment on their Facebook wall/page). Smart phones have also expanded our social networking world - with apps like: Instagram - which allows you to share pictures with your friends and everyone that uses to app and more, or Viddy/ Keek/ Vine - which allows you to share mini videos with your friends and everyone that uses to app and more.
Social Networking:
Posting a Tweet/ Facebook Status/ Instagram Post/ Viddy, etc:
1) Aware your audience what you’re talking about (WHAT):
(Example: “This brand new song … “)
2) Why should they care/how it can relate to their life… (WHY)
(Example Continued: “… Will help you conquer your past heartbreaks”'
3) Who are you talking about … (WHO):
(Example Continued: “… “Heartbreaker” by Justin Bieber….”
4) Top it off with a convincing message:
(Example Continued: “… It’s a catchy new tune, you’ll have on repeat and feel the passion and message of the song.”)
We’re aware that this is more than 140 characters long - and the example may be a little skeptical. You don’t always have to follow that exact format when promoting, but it’s good to add at least a few of them when you are mentioning it to a friend, family member, or posting a picture on Instagram (and the list goes on).

IMPORTANT: When the new songs come out on Vevo (audio or lyric video or music video, etc), Heartbreaker first - it is important to get them as many hits as we can - they can also distribute to the Billboard charts! Spotify also helps.

If you DON’T live in the United States, request Heartbreaker at your local radio stations.
If you live in the United States there’s some additional information below to look at. It gives you instructions on how to find the top radio stations around the country using the iheartradio app. This is extremely important for the Billboards. If you don’t live in the US you can scroll down to “KEY RADIO INFO”.
If you live in the United States here’s how you get find a list of all major radio stations. This is extremely important for the Billboards. Here are instructions on how to navigate both the website and the app.
The website:
Go to iheart.com
Click a station
Click “Station Info” or “Contact” to get station info like phone numbers
If this doesn’t work you can just Google the name of the radio station and get the info there
The app:
Open the iheartradio app on your smart device
Tab the menu icon (a bunch of lines) in the upper left hand corner
Click “Live Radio’
Scroll to the bottom and click “Top 40 & Pop”
