Astros Jarred Cosart "Apologizes" for Using Homophobic Slur ‘Fag Bieber’ on Twitter!!

Astros pitcher Jarred Cosart has apologized after he used a gay/homophobic slur to describe Justin Bieber when he tweeted a message to a former teammate.
Sorry about Canada ruining careers in Sochi right now...funny men's hockey hasn't even started yet 'llseeyaaaaaa

yeah you guys claim that fag bieber to smh about right

Jarred deleted the offensive tweet from his account and apologized for “a very poor choice of words.” He also says in a tweet that the earlier post does not reflect who he is as a person:
I used a very poor choice of words in one of my tweets earlier today that I need to apologize for. The tweet does not reflect who I am

Or what I stand for as far as an organization. Go astros

The Houston Baseball Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow also issued the following statement on Jarred’s actions:
We do not condone the language used on Twitter today by Jarred. It is unacceptable from anyone in our organization. We’ve spoken to Jarred about this matter, and he is extremely remorseful. He realizes his mistake and has apologized.

Am I the only one who thinks that he didn’t apologize to Justin, he apologized for using the word that would offend gay people. But then shit happens are people make mistakes and the fact that he acknowledged that he did something worng and attempted to ask for forgiveness is worth it.
