Miley Cyrus has revealed she begged Justin to quit showbiz following his total public meltdown earlier this year.
The former Hannah Montana actress grew up in the limelight just like Biebs – so she felt she was qualified to tell her friend to take a break from it all.
Miley, 20, desperately wants 19-year-old Justin to move on after videos of him behaving erratically emerged in March.
She told the Sunday People :
I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nit-pick.
When you’re not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out they just want to talk s*** about you.
When you’re a worldwide star, everyone sees everything. Lots of people make a video and put it on Instagram, some people might think it’s funny but because it’s Justin Bieber, it’s like really bad.
I always tell him just to be cool and not talk about it because when you talk it fuels the fire. He’s still stupid though. But everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up.
I definetely agree with Miley. Justin should have sometime out of the spotlight for him to cool down and reflect on what has been going on and so that people have nothing else to focus about but his music but as the Maxim Director said, Justin can´t take a break because people love him too much and he loves the spotlight too even though it makes his life a living hell.
Miley knows where he´s coming from because she has been in his shoes before and I think she is one of the best people to advice him on how ugly things can get of you don´t take a break from the spotlight.
