Justin Bieber Invests in a New Social Network ‘Shots Of Me’ by RockLive!!

Justin Bieber has invested $1.1 million in Shots Of Me, a new social networking site from the developers of the social mobile game RockLive, Fortune exclusively reports. The new site will be aimed primarily at teens, and the founders say they hope it will address needs that aren’t being met in other networks, like cyber-bullying and Justin had decided to put up the seed money into this.

RockLive CEO John Shahidi tells CNN Money:
Shahidi refused to provide too many details about Shots Of Me, which will be released into the Apple store later this week. He did say, however, that it will not have a gaming focus. We got to know Justin after he began playing our games and tweeting about it. He’s been very involved in our products, helping us test things and providing feedback… When we told him that we were looking to create a social network for teens that really addresses what they aren’t getting on other networks, and which tries to deal with things like cyber-bullying, his eyes just lit up.

Can´t wait to see what this is all about when the app comes out. It´s definitely interesting and sounds promising due to the fact that they hope this will help adress the cyber-bullying issue because it is a serious matter that not many really want to take time and deal with. Many have had to deal with cyber-bullying, famous celebrities included, they get it the most because those who sit by the computers and bully others are not couragous enough to do it in real life and they probably feel like crap and so they want to make others insecure, they feel more secure and negatively influencial on the other side of the screen, making other people´s lives horrible and even making other hurt themselves.

If you don´t like something on the internet, then don´t go searching for it to spread your hate, do or write something positive instead and leave. Or don´t comment at all, maybe it´s better if you keep your opinions to yourself for others´ well being. Other than that little rant, I´m super excited to see what is in store.
