Cody Simpson defends Justin Bieber following Orlando Bloom Fight!!

Cody Simpson has defended Justin Bieber following his altercation with Orlando Bloom, putting his misdeeds down to youth.

Cody had to dodge a punch from Orlando at a party in Ibiza after reportedly making a reference to the actor’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr who he was romantically linked with during their marriage. Cody insists JB’s misdeeds can be put down to his youth.

Speaking on Australia’s ‘The Morning Show’, Cody said:

Obviously we’re all young and he gets himself into some stuff sometimes.

He’s a person I’d go to for everything. He’s like a big brother.

He has the world in his hands as he does a lot of good as well. I’ve got all good things to say.

It's good to hear people who actually know Justin Bieber well and personally talk about him. A lot of bashing going on, yet most of the people talking don't know Justin well enough, just what they read.. Thankfully Cody is a good friend and is standing by him.

It’s been a rough few days for Justin Bieber and his team, following two videos of JB making racist jokes have been released to the public that he later on apologised for.

Popular radio host Elvis Duran has some sound advice for Justin Bieber after two damaging videos broke recently — one showing a reportedly 15-year-old JB telling a racist joke, and one of him using the N-word and joking about joining the Ku Klux Klan.

Elvis Duran tells ET bluntly:

I really think it’s a good time for Justin — as a very talented artist, which we’re totally forgetting about — it’s time for him to go away for a while. He needs to just disappear, grow up some, love life, learn how to be a guy and be a man, and come back and put an album out and it’ll be number one.

He also thinks people have become somewhat immune to JB’s highly publicized antics:

My theory about Justin in that there’s something awful being written about him every week – it’s to the point where I don’t even think people hear it anymore. As awful as these tapes are, I think people are saying, “Oh, well, no surprise there,” because there’s so much negative there about Justin.

Justin responded to the second video released Wednesday — featuring him laughing while singing an N-word filled racist parody of his 2009 song One Less Lonely Girl — by posting a Bible verse on his Instagram about sins and forgiveness.
And how does Elvis feel about his response?

You know what, he’s not — he’s not an awful guy. He makes bad decisions — makes him look bad — but the things he’s posting in his defense, I think he’s just trying to figure out what to do.

Drake Bell wants to know why people are defending Justin Bieber after the release of old footage showing him saying racist jokes. The former Nickelodeon star posted the below tweet.

In a blog post for BlackAmericaWeb.com, CNN Anchor Don Lemon responds to two videos that showed Justin Bieber using the N-Word.

Some are saying Bieber is racist. Is he? I don’t know.

But I do know that this is the danger of the proliferation of the use of the n-word. Clearly Justin Bieber, a young man who by the way, has immersed himself in black, Hip Hop culture should not be saying the n-word.

So the question is, if you want people like Justin Bieber to stop using (N-word) and to stop making excuses for using it, shouldn’t you (African American) do the same?

In a statement released to E! News, Justin said:

Facing my mistakes from years ago has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever dealt with. But I feel now that I need to take responsibility for those mistakes and not let them linger.

I just hope that the next 14-year-old kid who doesn’t understand the power of these words does not make the same mistakes I made years ago. At the end of the day I just need to step up and own what I did.

Justin, who is now 20, also looked to his faith to help him as he faces the backlash for his youthful ignorance. He Instagrammed an excerpt from Jesus Calling, a daily devotional by Sarah Young, that encourages sinners to confess their wrongdoings to God, and not to seek “refuge in the darkness” or indulge “in self-pity, denial, self-righteousness, blaming, and hatred.”

Soulja Boy is the latest artist to come to JB’s defense in the wake of racist joke scandal … saying Justin should be forgiven for his mistakes.

Soulja tells TMZ:

I talked to Justin yesterday. I called him. He’s in Cancun (in Mexico). We spoke about it. It’s really just so old man. He was 15… The footage was super old. It was a very touchy, serious situation, but we all slip up, we all make mistakes and I told him, man I said, ‘You’re a great person…’ He said, ‘Thank you… for having my back.’ It is what it is. Let the kid live. We all slip up, we all make mistakes. Y’all know he’s not racist. I’m his homie, all his homies is black… he’s not racist.

Usher posted a statement (with a throwback photo showing his arm wrapped around Justin) to Instagram on Saturday, throwing his support behind Justin Bieber as footage of him telling racist jokes continues to leak.

At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgment, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort. As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn’t always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist.

What he was 5 years ago was a naïve child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes.

Usher’s Instagram comes after a Nylon Guys Magazine interview in which he stood by JB’s other indiscretions.
He told the magazine:

Do I turn my head in shame based off of what I see, what I know? Nah, I don’t because it’s all part of life’s proces. Am I in it with him? Yeah.

This whole situation has been a mess. I can bet that not in a million years did Justin ever think that this would be out on public. It was a stupid mistake that he did 5 years ago. I'm just wondering why it's such a big deal tho, I mean, I'm black, but that word doesnt have the same meaning as it did 50 - 60 years ago, the problem here is who you say it to. You cant just walk up to a random person and use that kidn of language. If you have friends that accept you calling them that because the word nowadays means "friend" or "hommie" or "buddy", which is what most people dont understand. Justin apologised, there is nothing more he can do really. He cant take back his words, but he can be a lesson to all the people who use as it's called, the N- word.

The Truth Behind Justin Bieber Calling Woman a ‘Bitch’ – Horse Stable Incident!!

Justin Bieber was previously accused of calling a female fan a “BITCH” at a stables, despite TMZ not referring to the woman as a “fan” in their original report. Now, another rider Iama Amin at the stables has revealed the woman who filmed Justin Bieber, Melinda Giel-Murray was not a Justin Bieber fan and sold the video after hurling verbal abuse at Justin.

The incident took place at the Circle K stables on May 12th. In the footage video sold to TMZ by Melinda she continues filming after being asked to stop by Iama Amin, a rider at the stables of 10-years standing who invited Justin horse riding as a guest. Iama Amin — who lists herself on Twitter as a “licensed expert” in therapeutic massage — posted a YouTube video titled “The Truth Behind Justin Bieber Horse Stable Incident.” During the clip, Iama Amin challenges Melinda over her filming of Justin Bieber while accusing her of selling the footage to TMZ. Iama confronts Melinda, defending Justin

To clarify TMZ claims – 4 “security goons” did NOT surround her and try to intimidate her. And, Justin was not acting “very strange & nervous”. But, what was not caught on tape, was these women verbally harassing Justin. They yelled out at Justin, “You’ll never be like Michael Jackson!” and “…that’s if he stays alive long enough”. Truth is, they were antagonizing him.

So I went back to where the incident went down and made sure Melinda got a taste of her own medicine.

Justin was going to have a quiet day alone and us horse riders know that riding your horse is one of the most therapeutic things to do. We wanted Justin to experience that. But instead, he was bothered before he even got on the trail.

This is why people shouldn’t jump to conclusions about things in the media, because you actually don’t know what happens behind the scenes! I’m glad this woman actually spoke up about this situation and stood up for him. I wish more people realized Justin’s “bad behaviour” is usually a reaction to people harrassing him and yelling hateful antagonizing things at him. Unfortunately, they leave out the part where they are are yelling at him and make seem like he’s just acting out for no reason.

Enrique Iglesias: "Justin Bieber Won’t Ruin his Career As Long As No Drug Ploblem"!!

Singer Enrique Iglesias has come out in defense of Justin Bieber and said Justin’s recent actions are merely “common mistakes that teenagers make” and he will be able to maintain his successful career “as long as he doesn’t have a drug problem”.

Enrique said in an exclusive chat with Capital FM:

I think they’re exaggerating what’s happening with Justin Bieber. I mean, c’mon when you’re a teenager, who doesn’t drag race? I know I used to try and race with my friends all the time. Unfortunately he’s under a microscope and he’s been caught a few times.

Enrique also said Justin could bounce back from the current headlines and have a successful career regardless.

I don’t think what he’s done — going to ruin his career if you ask me. As long as it doesn’t get worse, as long as he doesn’t have a drug problem, as long as he doesn’t go haywire.

I think they’re common mistakes that teenagers make.

James Blunt backs Justin Bieber: "Paparazzi Aren’t Friendly"!!

It ain’t easy being Bieber, at least according to British singer-songwriter James Blunt. While in Toronto promoting his fourth studio album Moon Landing, he added a little perspective to the Justin Bieber’s multiple toubles that has grabbed international headlines.

The 39-year-old star said:

I think if I had cameramen following me around capturing the things that every 19 year old is doing, it would kind of f—- over the fun of being that age.

it is a strannge world and a pretty messed up society we´re living in right now. It´s true, I mean, I highly doubt most people can understand what Justin is goin through. Scott Manson And Other Producers Claim That Justin Bieber Movie Perform Well!!

Although the Justin´s Believe Movie was labeled a "flop", an industry source insisted to Mail Online:

It was really a successful launch, virtually no advertising budget.

The idea that it was ‘disastrous’ shows that people just do not understand the realities of this release to Believe … The plan was originally to be displayed only in 500 cinemas, but due to demand, they doubled it in 1000 cinema. 

As reported by the Wall Street Journal on Saturday, Scott Manson, the chief executive Scooter Braun Projects , the entertainment company behind many ventures Bieber, said the strategy behind Believe was similar to the latest album from Beyonce, who she released without anticipating any information or marketing. Manson said that devoted followers of Justin make a marketing campaign of high costs, be unnecessary. Manson said:

We realized that due to this solid fan base, where these young people are so loyal and so supportive, it was wonderful for us to get to make a movie that we were really proud and market it directly to them, without the overhead of traditional studio and marketing budgets. And we feel we have achieved that.

We’re big fans of what Beyonce did. That’s almost a cinematic version of how she [Beyonce] did it. I hope we both can end up in a great position with our fan bases and also in terms of economy, once the dust settles.

I mean, if that was the case then the Believe Movie was not at all a flop. It was meant for Beliebers and Fans so it was only going to be shown in a couple of cinemas but then it spread quick and Beliebers across the world wanted to watch it. SO looking at it from that point of view, it was not a flop.

Russell Crowe Defends Justin Bieber Over Graffiti Controversy in Australia!!

Justin hit headlines in Australia this week when he was caught spray-painting a wall in the grounds of the hotel where he was staying on the Gold Coast.

The local mayor, Tom Tate, was furious with Justin and publicly ordered him to clean up his mess or choose to sing a Christmas Choral for an hour.

However, New Zealand actor Russel Crowe, who is based in Australia, insists he likes seeing Justin’s graffiti artwork and backed him in a post on Twitter.com, writing:

I like Bieber’s tagging. Tag on little brother. Tag the world.

Justin previously found himself in trouble with the law over his ‘tagging’ during his South American tour after he was accused of spraying an abandoned hotel building in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The hotel he was staying at was very chill with the grafitti and even defended Justin, stating that he had asked for permission and that they wanted to encourage more grafitti from artists who come to visit them.

The hotel Justin was staying at is declaring itself a graffiti Belieber, despite being at odds with the city government. QT Hotel in the Gold Coast said it gave Justin Bieber permission to spray graffiti on its wall. Jjustin and some and others posted images online showing cartoon faces in fluorescent paint on an outdoor wall at the hotel in Queensland state.

After hearing criticism, the hotel changed its Facebook page cover art Thursday to show Bieber, his graffiti and the declaration:

He asked, and we said YES.

The Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate says Justin risked undermining the city's efforts to fight graffiti and ordered him to removed what it or to come back and sing a Christmas Choral for an hour.


In a letter to the hotel, Tate asserted the city can insist on removal of graffiti in private spaces if it's visible from public spaces.

But in further posts on its Facebook page, QT Hotel defended Bieber as an excellent hotel guest and said it wanted to promote graffiti as an art form. It invited artists to share examples of their work to be judged, with select artists being offered a hotel wall they could spray-paint themselves.

Well, there you go Mr. Mayor Tate, the hotel wanted Justin to have the grafitti on their wall, he asked for permission and they gave it to him. The hotel being the owners of the building I would like to think that they have all the permission they want to allow whatever they want in their property. They want to promote grafitti as an art and I mean, which artist wouldn´t want to go to such a hotel and leave something that will last?

Former Teen Star James Van Der Beek Defends Justin Bieber!!

The former 1990s icon James Van Der Beek spoke to Vulture this week about life in 1998. At one point, the reporter asked him if it is harder for today’s teen stars like Justin Bieber. The Dawson’s Creek actor agreed with this sentiment.

Absolutely, 100 percent. Those kids — No. 1, they’re so young. No. 2, they’re under such an intense microscope. And there’s a lot more money to be made off of them than there was when I was famous. I mean, I don’t know. I just don’t judge. It’s very easy. People love to judge. People love to be self-righteous. They get a lot of energy from that.

Listen: Fame is not hard. Right? Being a soldier is hard, digging ditches is hard, coal mining is hard. But it’s tricky. It’s not something you can ever get any sympathy for, nor should you, and it’s not something you can really explain to someone who hasn’t gone through it. But it’s tricky because … you’re the same. You feel generally like the same person, but the behavior of everyone around you starts to change.

I do agree, unless you have ever been in that position, i highly doubt that you can understand the kind of pressure having such a high profile in this kind of society but mayeb most people would be kinder if they try put themselves in these young celebrities´ shoes. I can bet it´s tricky keeping personal stuff hidden because people always want to know what is going on, they just make it look easy.

R. Kelly on Justin Bieber’s Wild Behavior: "I ain’t worried about him"!!

R. Kelly has defended Justin Bieber‘s wild antics. The R&B singer who collaborated with Justin recently, thinks JB can handle the media scrutiny after his recent alleged bad behavior.

R. Kelly said he hadn’t known him long when the pair decided to work together on the track "PYD" (Put You Down), which was released November 18th as part of Justin’s #MusicMondays and soared to the no.1 spot on the charts.

In an interview with E! News, R. Kelly said:

He’s young with an old soul, so he can take it.

His struggle will determine his success. I ain’t worried about him.

We’ve known each other for a minute. One time we sat in a hotel playing each other’s songs for two hours. I love a few of the songs he did and he loves a few of the songs I did. We decided we would do things together, sending things back and forth and now it’s phenomenal.

I believe that Justin can take all the crap that is going on and I don´t doubt that but I guess we can say we are all abit worried but he´ll get through. He is a strong that fights for what he wants. Plus, "PYD" was a smash!

The Wanted's Max George tells TMZ that Justin gets a bad rap when he is actually a "lovely, lovely guy." If you are wondering who The Wanted are, well, they are an English-Irish boy band, with members Max George, Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness, and Siva Kaneswaran and are currently signed to Island Records and in the US Mercury Records. They are managed by Scooter Braun, who is as you know, Justin´s manager too.

Max: I don´t know that s#@t, I don´t know that s#@t, so... I´ve met Justin and he´s a lovely lad...and people make the wrong opinions on him. Whether there are pictures or not, I don´t know but from what I know, he´s a lovely guy.

Thank you Max. But it´s just abit wierd that paparazzi want to know everyone´s opinion on Justin these recent days, even on interviews, people go to promote their stuff and out of the blue, they are being questioned about Justin Bieber, it seems like Justin has become a topic of discussion everywhere.

Did the paparazzi guy really have to ask about Justin? No! So they just want to keep his name on the headlines because they love the fact that Justin is on the spotlight and they get paid for every article they come up with that involves Justin.
