UK’s retailer Argos has slashed the price of Justin Bieber T-shirts from £9.99 to just £0.39p with free delivery. This represents a huge 96 percent discount of the original retail price. But why??
Argos spokeswoman, Janet Matthews told the Sun:
We currently have a number of our music T-shirts on special offer in a limited stock clearance. My eight-year-old is obsessed with Bieber, so I bought six when they were so cheap at 39p.
According to the DailyMail, Argos cut the price of the garments due to an apparent drop in Justin’s popularity and after he caused outrage by spitting from a hotel balcony into fans last month.
To some level, this is not about Justin loosing popularity. They are basing their facts on rumors, they have no proof at all for that action, photos manipulated to make it look like a different thing shoudl not even be considered. I mean, they are going to have more money i fthey sell the t-shirts cheaply. I a normal situation, the Belieber´s mother would have not bought six t-shirts if they were the same price as before, so they want more money from the clothes because people can afford them.
