In an old interview with M magazine, Ariana Grande opened up about getting her first text from Justin:
Justin’s the most famous contact I have in my phone. I felt so cool when he texted me. I didn’t believe it was him at first. He wrote, ‘What’s up cutie?’ and I dropped my phone and thought, ‘That did not just happen.’
Justin also complimented her and one of her songs:
I did a cover of ‘Die In Your Arms’ and Justin tweeted it and said he liked it and that meant the world to me,” Ariana says. “The fact that he did that means that he thinks I have some credibility as an artist. I’d love to work with him one day, I think he’s adorable and amazing.
People tend to make a big deal out of nothing. I´m pretty sure people are now linking this to the cheek kiss Justin gave Ariana but I mean, he´s single and so is she and they are both hot, I don´t knwo if going to work or not but I´m still a Jelena fan. Justin calls alot of people cutie and sweetie so this gives me the vibe that Justin said that to be friendly.
