Elyar Fox – the new hot pop sensation from London has already reached tens of millions views on YouTube with his new single 'Do It All Over Again' and been named one artist to watch by MTV in 2014.
The 18-year-old singer-songwriter spoke about the pressure of being branded the Next Justin Bieber:
I wouldn’t compare myself to anyone because I’m kind of doing my own thing and I’m just making the music I want to make and kind of just doing what I like, but obviously it’s going to happen because I’m 18. We’re all young, working in pop music, so it’s going to happen, the comparisons are going to be thrown out there, but I think it’s kind of a good thing at times to be compared to anyone that’s successful, but I’m doing my own thing.
He is talented for sure, that I cannot deny, and yeah it´s a nice thing to be compared to someone who has achieved alot in the music industry at a young age but it always comes to the basic thing, that I´m not up for comparing artists. Like the all do their own thing so why do people keep comparing them to Justin? I think when they do that, they give people some expections that they will be something like Justin and when that expectation is no met, some people end up disappointed so I don´t see the point in doing the comparisons. I don´t want to sound snooby or anything but no one is or will ever be like Justin and neither is anyone going to be like Elyar either, they are both different artists and that is how they should be seen.
