To prank the Beliebers, Frost wore Bieber's signature hoodie, sunglasses and snapback hat. He made his way through the crowd, followed by friends acting as paparazzi and bodyguards. The reaction was instantaneous: girls screamed, chased after him and asked him to pose for photos.
Zack wrote in an email to Mashable:
The initial response was great when we walked out for the first time. Luckily, we had a couple of people with us to hold some of the girls back. Then, when we went inside, people continued to take pictures and put them on Twitter.
The prank was inspired by the success of their Mother's Day video, in which they approached women in supermarkets and pretended to be their sons.
Zack wrote:
We knew we'd want to do another prank, and since people tell Jeremy he looks like Justin Bieber all the time, we thought it was perfect.
Originally, we were just going to do it in a mall or something, but then we found out he was going to have a concert in Boston in July. So we put it off for a couple months.
His fans are the most dedicated in the world and we knew that if they even saw a glimpse of him, they'd freak out. We couldn't pass that up.
It was worth waiting to prank Beliebers, many people love doing that, they know they will get hyterical at the glimose of anyone that looks like Justin. But that was really halarious, I was laughing my head off. I mean, if I was one of those Beliebers, I woudl have definetely done the same, I would have run up to him and took pics thinking it was Justin.
